University
of Stirling
The
University of Stirling was opened in 1967 on a brand new campus
of 310 acres, built on the estate of the 18th Century Airthrey
Castle. Offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate
courses it is traditionally one of Scotland's top universities,
performing exceptionally well in Teaching and Research assessments.
The most recent Teaching Quality Assessment rated Stirling in
the top ten in the UK.
Building
on its historic foundations to create an exciting mix of the old
and new, Stirling has a thriving centre and a growing population
of around 40,000. It is only 45 minutes from both Glasgow and
Edinburgh.
